About the Project

Roof Coliving, Yekpare, and Tamirhane are bringing communities in Bursa together through shared dinners and artistic activities. The project unfolds through three key themes: Preserving Urban Commons, Transforming Spaces, and Resisting Urban Injustice.In each neighborhood gathering, local residents, artists, and activists will exchange stories, discuss shared spaces, and create artistic expressions. These narratives will culminate in a participatory exhibition — a hopeful, collective storytelling experience that reimagines our urban future.

Roof Coliving

Roof Coliving works with the vision of sustainable and just common living spaces. Through social design and placemaking, it fosters creative participation where everyone can contribute. By strengthening dialogue and local bonds, Roof Coliving empowers communities to co-shape vibrant, inclusive neighborhoods.

Yekpare

Yekpare is a social innovation alliance that connects social entrepreneurs, communities, and change makers in Türkiye and beyond. We create trusted spaces for collaboration, design participatory programs and tools, and advocate for a stronger and more sustainable social economy.

Tamirhane

Tamirhane is a community-driven cultural hub in Nilüfer, transforming a former police station into a space for art, dialogue, and collective action. With a focus on sustainability and solidarity, it fosters collaborations between civil society, municipalities, and grassroots movements, empowering communities to reclaim and enliven public spaces.
