COMM-UNITY GARDEN took place on June 2026, hosted by Montag Residency and moderated by Merve Kavas from Yekpare.
Devrim Bostanı / Revolution Garden (İTÜ Taşkışla), Yaşar Adnan Adalı (Postane Ova), Işıl Eğrikavuk (The Other Garden), Fergana Kocadoru (Balıkesir University) and Dr. Helen McGhie came together to talk about community gardens as spaces of communication, collective care and shared learning.
Threads that came up: the temporary ground most of these spaces stand on, whether photography documents or builds relationship, and what a garden turns into as it grows.
